What it is.

Better Together is built on the idea that most people don't need a more complicated training program. They need someone who knows their name, a structure that fits their week, and a room of people moving in the same direction.

You follow the Better Together program. Your coach knows where you are, where you came from, and where you're heading. You train on the floor in Pursuit sessions, alongside a small crew of members on the same program.

It's coaching, with company built in.

What's included.

A coach on the floor with you, every session.

Whether you train twice a week or five, the coach is there to:

  • Walk you through an exercise you've never done
  • Catch a form issue before it becomes a niggle
  • Push you when you're cruising and pull you back when you're going too hard
  • Chat about the weekend before you get into it, when that's what the day calls for

Training slots run wide enough that it's hard to find a time you can't train. No rigid start times either — arrive at 6:11am, no problem, nobody's clock-watching at the door. Your coach will know if you decided to hit snooze, though.

Beyond the session, the coaching keeps going.

  • Monthly 1-on-1 with your coach to review progress and set the next month's focus
  • Nutrition coaching tailored to your goal — fat loss, fueling, muscle building, healthier choices day to day
  • Accountability that doesn't drop off in week three
  • Between-session access to your coach for the questions that come up

You follow the Better Together program, updated weekly, built around getting stronger, healthier, and more capable.

Who Better Together is for.

The members who do best on Better Together share a couple of things in common: they want to train consistently, they don't want to think about the program, and they value a coach who knows them.

Member Story

Sam's story.

When Sam first joined us, she had a bunch of goals: improve fitness, lose weight, boost mobility, feel better mentally. She started in our group sessions and over six months smashed it in the gym. Strength, mobility, and health metrics all improved. She was consistent, committed. But the scales barely moved.

So we moved her to what is now our Better Together membership, paired with Coach Manu and the deeper coaching layer — nutrition, lifestyle habits, mindset, monthly check-ins, tighter accountability.

What if I'm not really a gym person?

Most of our members didn't think of themselves as gym people when they started. The training environment was either too intimidating, too many randoms staring, not enough guidance, or the equipment was always crowded when they walked in.

We built Better Together for that crowd. Capped sessions so you're not lost in a wave. Coaches who introduce themselves and remember your name โ€” and then keep paying attention. They learn your training habits. They notice when you're a little off. They know when you need a push and when you don't. Most importantly, they notice when you don't show up.

Show up week one knowing nothing. By week eight, you'll know your numbers, your form, and your coach.

When Better Together is right, and when it isn't.

Better Together is right if you've been thinking any of this:

Got the Kids? The kids are sorted.

The kids' room is ready for the kids to hang out, watch movies, or draw. There's a camera at the front desk so you can see what's happening while you train, if you wish. Most of our parents tell us this is the bit that made One Life work for them, not just the training.
